Our aim is to provide information about the school, showcase children's work and to develop links and activities for learning at home and at school. 10/3/10   The school General Knowledge Team today cam 3rd in the first round at the new Chelmsley Wood Library.  Our General Knowledge Reporter, Lauren in 6L, has written a report.
6/3/10 Our annual Fitness Week will take place on the week beginning 17th May.  We are keen to get the children as active as possible and wonder if any parents or grandparents would be able to offer their expertise in any sport or fitness related activities?  Aerobics?  Hockey?  Athletics?  Anyone able to offer any help during this week, please contact Mr May via the school office.
6/3/10   Last night's PTA Disco was a huge success.  Year 5's 'dance off' was a highlight and they certainly taught Miss Otton a thing or two!   See photos here.  The next PTA event is our annual Family Quiz Night on the 23rd April. 
2/3/10 The CBJS Indoor Athletics Team were today crowned Solihull Champions after their victory in the final.  Congratulations to all of the squad members and a huge thank you to the parents and families who came to support the children today.  A report on the final will follow shortly.  For now, check out the report on the semi-final here.

Our talented netball team came second in the North Solihull Skills Tournament this afternoon.  More information to follow.

As part of our partnership with our neigbours at Merstone School, children in 4J have collaborated with their friends at Merstone to create a sculpture representing the partnership between our two schools.
6/2/10 Friday was Hats for Haiti day at CBJS.  Children were invited to wear a hat of their choice for the day, in exchange for a small donation.  Thanks to everyone who helped to raise funds for the people of Haiti.
4/2/10 Our new football reporter, Chelsey, in 6M, reports on CBJS girls' 7-a-side 4-0 cup win against Bishop Wilson last week.  Click here to see the report.  Check out the CBJS Sport page, on the home page for other sports reports, which will follow soon, starting with next week's Indoor Athletics qualifier.
